From a very early age, I have been drawn to understand people through what they choose to wear. A kind of anthropological study of character. And as a teen, after school, I would frequently visit a busy downtown Calgary pedestrian avenue to watch an incredible diversity of people. This led to a formal education in fashion design and theatre studies, leading to an extensive, decades long, and award winning career in theatrical design and broad scale experience in film/tv departmental management. Character development is a long loved pursuit.

My diverse expertise provides excellent research and presentation for all categories of styling and design, from contemporary fashion trends to historical costuming and fantasy builds. My knowledge of materials and technique quickly problem solves any design challenge. I am a lifelong student of the creative act and art, in others, myself, and especially, storytelling.
